It’s hot and sunny in Chicago today, but I still loved my lunchtime view.
For the past week and a half, I’ve been making it a point to go outside every single day for a break at work. It’s so tempting to keep working through lunch, but I’ve found that I’m both more productive and just so much happier in general if I take the time to shut my computer, walk around a bit and get some fresh air.

Whether it’s grabbing lunch with some of my co-workers or enjoying a rare moment of mid-day peace by myself, I’ve found that a real lunch break has quickly become a necessary ritual in my life.
